12 Days of Christmas Treats, Day 3: Marshmallow Graham Squares

Welcome to day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas treats. What did I make today? Marshmallow Graham Squares. See? No chocolate. Just like I promised.
This recipe comes from my mom's recipe box and it is her favourite Christmas dessert. Seriously, she eats these like I eat puff wheat squares...until they're all gone. : )

Marshmallow Graham Squares
-30 LARGE marshmallows (I can't stress this enough. LARGE marshmallows)
-2 cups graham crumbs
-1/2 cup maraschino cherries
-1 can (15 oz) sweetened condensed milk
-1 tsp vanilla
-3 cups shredded coconut

Pour the graham crumbs and only 2 cups of the coconut into a large bowl. Then use scissors to cut each marshmallow into 8 pieces. Don't try to use a knife, it won't work. And be sure to keep a bowl of water next to you when you're cutting to wash off the scissors in between marshmallows. You can not use small marshmallows because you need the stickiness from cutting the large marshmallows.
Cut up your maraschino cherries into four pieces and then toss them into the bowl.
Then pour the whole can of sweetened condensed milk into the bowl and stir everything together.
Use the remaining cup of coconut to sprinkle onto the bottom and the top of the bars so that they don't stick onto the pan and so that they look pretty.
Put the pan into the fridge and let the mixture get hard before you cut it into squares.
One of the greatest no-bake bar recipes out there. This may not look like the tastiest treat on the dainty platter, but trust me they are so good.
